Hamilton’s labour movement has always been at the forefront of struggles to improve work and life for working-class people. In this public talk, labour historian Craig Heron reflects on more than a century of labour struggles and the central role that they have played in shaping not only the Hamilton community but also the fight for workers’ rights and dignity across the country. As we face difficult times, how does this history of resilience and determination guide us in our struggles to build a better world?
