Connect to Careers is Hamilton’s largest job fair, presented in partnership by: McMaster University, Mohawk College, Redeemer University, Workforce Planning Hamilton and the City of Hamilton. This year, Connect to Careers will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Downtown Hamilton at FirstOntario Centre.

Bringing in top organizations from the Greater Hamilton Area, attending job seekers will have the opportunity to access over 140 organizations in attendance, totalling more than 300 opportunities; 82% of those attending are hiring for full-time employment. A secondary goal of the fair is to encourage young job seekers, specifically students, to consider broader career options beyond their field of study, and to also develop career confidence when it comes to networking.

Free shuttle buses will be available the day of the fair from McMaster University, Mohawk College, and Redeemer University, starting at 9:30 a.m. One of the goals this year is to promote this service as an easy and viable way to attend the fair.
