We know that conflict exists. Look at our world today. When conflict is unresolved, it can manifest in stress & sickness, it can strain relationships, it can lower your morale. What we might not know is how to use conflict as a chance to create meaningful and effective change. Join us for an interactive introduction to Conflict Transformation that examines the kinds of conflicts we are up against; conflicts within ourselves, with each other and with structures, institutions, and ideas. Conflict Transformation 101 will share some strategies and techniques to mitigate the impacts of conflict on our lives, and on the lives of others. We will learn how to use conflict to create change.

Conflict Transformation requires self-awareness, increased communication skills and a motivation to necessarily resolve struggle. Transforming conflict is hard work! This workshop will provide some analysis, skills and tools for conflict transformation. We will learn & practice using these tools through dialogue, group exercises and some role playing. Safer spaces will be maintained and protected for participants. Harmful or oppressive language and behaviour will not be tolerated.Danielle Boissoneau is
