Come join a community of practice for research software developers

Calling all those involved in or interested in the development of software for research.

The Office of the Vice-President, Research (VPR) and the Office of the AVP/CTO are hosting the first community of practice to help bring together like minded researchers and developers from across campus to socialize, foster connections, and talk shared interests in the creation of custom software.

Custom software has become an integral part of our modern research landscape, and its creation a necessary outcome for many projects. Those creating it however are diverse and engage in its creation under many different titles and roles.

So whether you’re directly involved in custom software or are otherwise involved with those who do, you are invited to attend the first meeting of the Research Software Development Community of Practice.
