This free public talk with Q&A sketches the science and considers the role of literature and the arts to help convey ideas related to climate change, with special reference to Hamilton Harbour and its evolving relationship to the community.

Dr. Chris McLaughlin is Executive Director of the Bay Area Restoration Council in Hamilton and adjunct professor in McMaster’s School of Earth, Environment & Society where he teaches environmental policy. He is also Canadian Co-Chair of both the IJC’s Great Lakes Water Quality Board and the Advisory Board of the Global Center for Climate Change and Transboundary Waters.
