CAN-UK Military Reserve Exchange: Health Forum

The Canadian 23 Field Ambulance reserve medical unit, in partnership with the Global Health Office (GHO), will be hosting a Health Forum with members of the United Kingdom Medical Reserve, as part of an allied training exchange “CAN-UK Med Reserve Exchange 22”.

This forum will mark the first day of a week-long visit where Canadian and UK military reserve personnel will engage in knowledge exchange, training, and culminate in a joint training exercise in Indiana, USA. The delegation is led by Colonel Jonathan Hayman from the United Kingdom.

During the forum presenters will share perspectives on health and the health system, in different Canadian contexts. The agenda includes a combination military and civilian academic presenters, on topics of the long-term care crisis, disaster and rescue medicine, and arctic health.
