In its effort to provide informed service delivery, the New Digital Research Infrastructure Organization (NDRIO) is seeking input from the Canadian research community, especially those in disciplines, geographical regions or minority groups that have been traditionally underrepresented by the Canadian DRI ecosystem.

As part of their strategic planning, they’ve put out a Call for White Papers which should briefly describe your perspective on current challenges accessing DRI tools, services and support; the ideal future state of DRI in Canada; and how NDRIO could achieve such a state. The deadline for submission is Friday, December 4th.

To assist our community with this, on Monday, November 23rd from 3 – 4 p.m. we’ll be hosting an information session for those interested in submitting a white paper, answer questions where possible and provide an update on NDRIO and related activities. Ranil Sonnadara, Special Advisor to the VPR, and Jay Brodeur, Associate Director, Digital Scholarship Services, University Library, will chair this session.

Registration is required and additional information is below. A video link to the session will be sent upon receiving registration.

If you plan to submit a White Paper, I encourage you to let me and/or Ranil know so that we can support your efforts with NDRIO as the process moves forward.
