Opportunity Marketplace 2025 is a dynamic half-day forum designed to exchange ideas, spark innovation and advance community-engaged teaching, learning and research. This year’s theme — “Building Canada’s Future: What Matters Most?” — invites participants to explore how universities can help shape a strong, resilient and self-reliant Canada in a time of both peril and promise.
This free event is tailor made for individuals and organizations interested in working with university faculty, students and staff on complex nation-building opportunities.
Featured speaker
Marcia Young, Host of CBC Radio’s World Report, will kick off the program. Drawing from her award-winning career in journalism and community-building, she’ll explore the event theme from multiple perspectives, setting the tone for a day of meaningful dialogue.
Panel discussions
Four expert-led panels will tackle pressing national challenges including energy, healthcare, housing and wildfires.
