Book Launch: Inside the Critics’ Circle: Book Reviewing in Uncertain Times (By Phillipa K Chong)

To celebrate the launch of her new book, Phillipa K Chong, an associate professor in McMaster’s Department of Sociology, is giving a public talk at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, co-hosted by the Hamilton Review of Books.

Inside the Critics’ Circle: Book Reviewing in Uncertain Times (Princeton University Press) explores how we evaluate contemporary fictional works. In this internet age, everyone is a critic!

Members of the McMaster community are invited to a special reception of colleagues and friends that will be held immediately before the public talk.
