UNU-INWEH is pleased to announce its next free public lecture: Legacy and Emerging Contaminants in Fish, Wildlife and Humans: What are the Concerns?
Dr. Karen Kidd, Professor in the Department of Biology and School of Geography and Earth Sciences, and Jarislowsky Chair in Environment and Health at McMaster University will be speaking about the environmental fate of legacy (e.g., pesticide DDT) and emerging (e.g., pharmaceuticals) contaminants, chemical exposure patterns in humans, wildlife and fish, and the effectiveness of international treaties at reducing these exposures.
This lecture will be held on Tuesday, November 7 at 7 p.m. at McMaster Innovation Park.
