We invite you to the 20th Annual International Women’s and Children’s Health (IWCH) Conference, taking place on Saturday, November 11 at the Hamilton Plaza Hotel and Convention Centre. This year’s global theme is “Pushing Forward: The Impact of Modernization on Women’s and Children’s Health”.

This one-day conference brings together students, faculty and community members who are passionate about exploring the many facets of women’s and children’s health at home and around the world. Founded in 1998 by Dr. Jean Chamberlain and Dr. Lynda Redwood, the IWCH conference continues to provide a valuable opportunity for attendees to engage with the conference theme through the lens of medicine, social work, research and philanthropy, law, and more. Workshop themes include Knowledge Translation, Sustainability and Innovation, Ethical Considerations, Gender Roles & Identity, Technology & Innovation, Stigma of Sexual Health, Culture as a Barrier to Modernization and Preventable causes.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and dietary restrictions will be accommodated.
