The aim of the annual Lecture is to stimulate the advancement of clinical nursing education through collaboration between clinical and academic partners, and the development of educational innovations. Speakers are selected who appeal to the interests and foci of preceptors, students, and educators. Interprofessional attendance is encouraged.

This years speaker is Executive Director of the Greater Hamilton Health Network, Melissa McCallum. Possessing over 15 years of progressive healthcare experience and planning, Melissa completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Science honours Nursing Degree at McMaster University and Master of Nursing degree with an educational focus. Melissa will share a reflection on her nursing career and the diverse experiences the job has granted her.
