An Overture to Managing McMaster’s Receivables using PeopleSoft
We are now ready to implement the billing portion of the Mosaic Accounts Receivable module to aid faculties, departments and research accountants to issue, track and collect funds using the Mosaic system starting in 2018. Come to this session to learn about our latest Mosaic project and how your department will be impacted.
Orchestrating the Policies
A look at McMaster’s Financial Policies, how and why they are created and how they are reviewed and updated. Come learn the inventory of our Financial Policies and where to find them.
Harmonizing Accounts
Harmony can be defined as a consistent, orderly, or pleasing arrangement of parts. Learn how to use account numbers for revenue, expenses, recoveries, transfers and capital assets consistently across the university to produce reliable financial information.
A Crescendo of Data – Business Intelligence
This session will introduce you to McMaster’s Business Intelligence project, which aims to capitalize on these opportunities by providing new strategic reporting tools to keep university decision-makers up-to-date and informed. At the session you will be able to see a live demonstration of the Research Administration BI and learn more about upcoming BI projects.
