With the legalization of cannabis, the health and safety of faculty, staff and students remain a priority at McMaster University.
Educational resources and tools focussed on harm reduction are in development to guide the campus community through this change, and provide additional support where required.
McMaster will remain a smoke free campus and related policies have been updated to reflect the new legislation.

Consuming recreational cannabis in the workplace is illegal and will continue to be after legalization on October 17, 2018.
