For many in the McMaster community, living in downtown Hamilton offers the best of both worlds: an immersive experience of the city’s vibrant and student-friendly downtown scene and a quick, easy commute to classes and activities on campus.

10 Bay, McMaster’s newest residence, is fully open now and offers students, faculty, staff and their families a chance to live and thrive in downtown Hamilton. If you’re new to our community, here’s some more information:

Only downside to studying here? Trying not to get distracted by the gorgeous view.

And if you need a change of scene without going outside, try the Senator’s Lounge near the lobby, or the Sky Lounge on the 30th floor. Students can also attend workshops held in these spaces on topics that include job interview prep, graduate programs and tax preparation – without ever having to leave the building.
