10 Bay, McMaster’s newest residence, is fully open now and offers students, faculty, staff and their families a chance to live and thrive in downtown Hamilton. If you’re new to our community, here’s some more information:
Brand new, modern studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments are all fully furnished and include wifi, all amenities and 24/7 security.
In addition to frequent city bus service, starting in September 2024, a free shuttle bus will take residents to McMaster’s main campus and back throughout the day.
Residents can host a barbecue, exercise or just bask in nice weather at 10 Bay’s large, outdoor upstairs patio. Not to mention the excellent bird’s eye view of the city.
What’s home without a sense of community? Chill and make friends in the many shared spaces at 10 Bay, including the movie and music rooms.
And if you need a change of scene without going outside, try the Senator’s Lounge near the lobby, or the Sky Lounge on the 30th floor. Students can also attend workshops held in these spaces on topics that include job interview prep, graduate programs and tax preparation – without ever having to leave the building.
Want to keep an exercise routine? Stop by the gym, which has free weights, cardio and weight machines, Peleton bikes and other equipment to keep you healthy and in shape.
