Posted on Nov. 13: Marauders battle Laval for Mitchell Bowl

[img_inline align=”right” src=”http://padnws01.mcmaster.ca/images/web-Jon-Behie_150.jpg” caption=”Jon Behie”]The McMaster Marauders will take on Laval Rouge et Or this Saturday for the coveted Mitchell Bowl title, bringing them one step closer to the Vanier Cup game Nov. 22 at Toronto's Skydome.
This is McMaster's fourth consecutive national semi-final appearance. The team was unsuccessful in advancing to the Vanier Cup game in their three previous tries. Rouge et Or have been in and out of bowl contention for the past five seasons.
The game will take place at Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton at 2 p.m.
The Box Offices on Balsam and Beechwood will open at 10 a.m. Saturday. The gates to the stadium open at 12:30 p.m. Click here for ticket information.
The game will be broadcast on McMaster Radio CFMU 93.3 FM and AM 900 CHML and on TSN and RDS following the Utek Bowl between St. Mary's and Simon Fraser at 11 a.m. The winner of this game will take on the Mitchell Bowl champion for the Vanier Cup. Click here to read more.
