This year, George welcomed five newcomers to the table.
“It's my pleasure to share lunch with these outstanding young individuals who have each been recognized by the foundation for their staunch commitment to the community and strong academic performance,” says George.
The students are among the 72 students chosen from more than 4,000 applicants to receive CMSF awards last year. Winners may apply their scholarship to costs of attending one of 25 universities across Canada.
CMSF funds the identification and support of talented students who show promise of leadership and a strong commitment to service in the community.
