Those with an appetite for classical saxophone, guitar and jazz have an opportunity to fill their senses at one of four upcoming free lunchtime concerts.

The first concert will take place Tuesday, Jan. 27 with Willem Moolenbeek, a classical saxophonist and member of the faculties of music at McMaster University and the University of Waterloo. Moolenbeek has performed with orchestras, chamber groups and in solo recitals throughout Canada and Europe.

On Feb. 24, guitarist Jeffrey McFadden will perform. McFadden has impressed music critics with his ability to make the guitar “sing”. This guitarist is sure to please audiences with his passion and technique.

On March 9, jazz musician Greg Bush will spice up the afternoon with the smooth notes of Canadian jazz. As a frequent performer at jazz festivals across Canada, his music will heat things up despite the chilly temperature outside.

The Mark Eisenman Trio will take the stage March 23. The Mark Eisenman Trio consists of three talented musicians, including pianist Mark Eisenman, bassist Steve Wallace and drummer John Sumner. The band is considered to be among the top jazz musicians in the country.

All concerts take place from 12:30-1:20 p.m. in Convocation Hall at McMaster University. Bring your lunch.
