A group of undergraduate and graduate students are occupying the main floor lobby of Gilmour Hall today in a move to pressure the University to resume negotiations with the McMaster University Staff Association. The students are seeking an end to the strike. The group plans to remain in the lobby until talks resume.

Last week, the mediator advised negotiators for both parties to take some time away from the table to review their positions. The University's negotiating team has said it is taking the mediator's advice.
