Planning for spring convocation is underway
February may have just arrived, but the planning for McMaster’s spring convocation has already begun.
With physical distancing limitations still in place, the ceremony will be held online, with a week of virtual celebrations in mid-June.
The schedule for ceremonies will be:
Date | Time | Faculty/School |
Monday, June 14 | 10 a.m. | Faculty of Humanities and Arts & Science program |
Monday, June 14 | 12 p.m. | School of Nursing |
Tuesday, June 15 | 10 a.m. | DeGroote School of Business |
Wednesday, June 16 | 10 a.m. | Faculty of Social Sciences |
Thursday, June 17 | 10 a.m. | Faculty of Science (including Medical Radiation Sciences) |
Thursday, June 17 | 12 p.m. | Faculty of Health Sciences (excluding Nursing) |
Friday, June 18 | 10 a.m. | Faculty of Engineering |
Online live-streamed celebrations can be viewed from the registrar’s office’s main graduation page. No registration is required, and videos will also be available on the convocation website for those who miss the live-stream.
All graduates will have the option to receive a secure digital version of their diploma anchored in blockchain technology. Paper diplomas will also be mailed as long as the registrar’s office has a current mailing address in Mosaic.
More details will be emailed directly to graduating students beginning in April, and updates will be posted on the RO’s graduation page and on @macstudentservices Instagram.
