Two faculty members from the School of the Arts have taken their creativity and innovation to the President’s Corridor.
Visitors to the second floor Gilmour Hall area are currently being greeted by prints, paintings and photographs by associate professors Judy Major-Girardin and John Ford.
Major-Giradin’s work emphasizes the importance and beauty of wetland environments, while Ford’s encompasses a variety of pieces that combine printmaking, traditional etching on copper, brass and steel plates, photography and digital scanning techniques.
Major-Giradin has organized a number of student and community exhibitions in the President’s Corridor, including student self-portraits and Studio Art graduating class highlights .
The work will be on display throughout the summer outside of Gilmour Hall Room 238.
