McMaster Library launches a book club devoted to sustainability
Two committees within the McMaster Library have launched a virtual book club focused on sustainability — and their first book is by one of McMaster’s own.
The Sustainability and Display committees have selected a chapter from Daniel Coleman’s book Yardwork as their first work for discussion. The book will be introduced with a reading by the author, who is a professor in McMaster’s English and Cultural Studies department, and participants will be able to ask Coleman questions before discussing the chapter together.
The book club’s first meeting is Thursday, Nov. 26 at 7 pm.
Registration is free, and participants will be emailed the passage and a Zoom link prior to the event.
To read Coleman’s book, go to the library’s catalogue, the Hamilton Public Library or a favourite local bookstore.
