Health, safety and well-being supports to start the school year


To promote a safe and healthy start to the 2024-25 academic year, every McMaster community member should become aware of the supports and resources available for students, faculty and staff.

Resources for McMaster Community Members

Explore the resources page for valuable tools and support for students, faculty and staff. Find links to virtual and on-campus supports, including: 

  • Student supports: Find links to wellness, accommodations and cultural support for students. 
  • Equity & inclusion: Support for discrimination, harassment and sexual violence. 
  • Faculty & staff supports: find links to counselling and professional development resources. 
  • Mental health & well-being: Learn about comprehensive well-being initiatives and counselling on campus, as well as crisis support services.

  • The app could provide critical information faster than other communication channels. 
  • Other features of the McMaster Safety App include sharing your location with a friend while walking, as well as quick access to support resources and contacting Campus Safety Services.
