The grand opening of the new Mohawk-McMaster Institute for Applied Health Sciences takes place at 11 a.m. today (Sept. 15).
The institute is a one-of-a-kind partnership in health sciences education and research. It is home to 1,200 full-time and 3,500 part-time students from both Mohawk College and McMaster University.
The opening ceremonies will be held in the building atrium.

The Communications and Public Affairs Office is staffed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
