This month with the President – School of Nursing think tank

As one of the first community projects supported with funds from the Forward with Integrity initiative, The School of Nursing is bringing together members of the Hamilton community, students and faculty to identify neighbourhood challenges and opportunities. As part of this process, a two-day think tank held in the City’s east-end allowed for open discussion and information sharing. Faculty, students and neighbours worked together to help understand how they can work together to make the City a better place to live, work and study. In This Month with the President, Patrick Deane says this kind of community forum is just one way the University can engage with its community.
