A number of current students and a McMaster grad are participating in the Games, which run from July 28 to August 13 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Ontario’s team at the Canada Summer Games, being held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, will have a maroon hue.

Kaitlyn Akitt: Coxing men’s rowing who received gold
Keira Allen: BRONZE, Rowing, eight with coxswain female
James Sinclair: GOLD, Rowing, lightweight four male, and SILVER, Rowing four male
Soren Meeuwisse: SILVER, Cycling, mountain bike relay female, and BRONZE, Cycling, mountain bike cross country female
Sergio Raez Villaneuva: BRONZE, Athletics, running 1500m male, and BRONZE, Athletics, running 5000m male
Team Ontario won overall rowing title.
