A GO-VAXX mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinic is coming to McMaster’s campus on Tuesday, September 27th.

As the pandemic continues, public health officials are urging everyone to keep up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations as they can provide protection against severe illness from COVID-19.

The clinic is open to McMaster students, faculty and staff as well as to members of the Hamilton community.

This clinic comes as the Ontario government begins to offer the bivalent COVID-19 booster dose to all Ontarians aged 18 and over.

Children under the age of five are not able to get a vaccine at GO-VAXX clinics. For information on options for vaccination of children aged six months to under five-years-old, please visit the City of Hamilton’s public health website.

All GO-VAXX buses provide:

  • The Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, including booster doses, for adults and youth ages 12 and up
  • The Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, including booster doses, for children aged five to 11
  • The bivalent mRNA COVID-19 booster for all eligible populations (All Ontarians over the age of 18 will be eligible for bivalent COVID-19 booster doses starting September 26th).

Appointments for the clinic can be booked through the province’s booking portal or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact centre at 1-833-943-3900.

Walk-ins will be accepted based on availability.

Please bring your Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) and/or University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) card with you to the clinic. International students, please bring physical, hard copies of previous vaccinations from other countries.
