Interested in updating your wardrobe and supporting Mac at the same time?

Athletics and Recreation has partnered with the Campus Store to raise money for the McMaster COVID-19 Fund through the sale of limited edition “Marauders Unite, McMaster Stronger Together” T-shirts and crewneck long-sleeve shirts.

T-shirts cost $19 each, with $10 from each sale going to the Fund. Crewnecks are $29, with $15 from each sale being donated.

The COVID-19 Fund provides immediate funding to support discoveries and advances in McMaster’s COVID-19 research. It also provides emergency financial relief to students significantly affected by the economic impacts of the pandemic. Student emergency relief assists with grants for food, rent or technology issues and can offer help to students who are caring for dependents. Students seeking information on applying for help can visit the Registrar’s Office website.

“Marauder wear is extremely popular with our students, faculty and staff,” said Shawn Burt, director of Athletics and Recreation. “We thought these limited-edition shirts would be a great way for our McMaster community to wear their school pride, while also supporting our COVID-19 researchers and students needing immediate support.”

Shirts can be ordered until June 27. Pre-orders placed by June 5 will be shipped the week of June 15 and pre-orders placed between June 6 to June 27 will be shipped the week of July 6.

Buyers can use the promo code MAC50 for free shipping in Canada for purchases over $50 before tax for these fundraising shirts as well as crested clothing, giftware and stationery from the online Campus Store.
