Alumni Association recruiting grads to share advice with incoming students

notes-1

Do you remember your first steps on McMaster’s grounds?

The beads of sweat on your face from the summer sun.

The tears falling from your eyes when your parents dropped you off on your first day of University?

The nerve-wracking, but exciting first moments of introducing yourself to people you have never met before, who begin as strangers and turn into lifelong friends?

The ups and downs throughout your study at University?

Finally, are you a proud alumni of McMaster University?

If you said yes to any of these questions, the McMaster Alumni Association is seeking help to inspire the next generation of Marauders.

In late August, the incoming #Classof2021 students will begin to arrive on campus.

They will be overwhelmed and excited for the next four years of university life – and they could use some friendly words of wisdom.

Alumni are being asked to write a short note of encouragement or advice to an incoming first year that could help ease their transition into University.

Write your message for a first year and help support their journey:
