Attend WISE’s mentorship evening, including a workshop on “Networking for Introverts” and networking with WISE Faculty & graduate students.

The evening will start with an interactive workshop by Catherine Maybrey from the Science Career and Cooperative Education Office in the Faculty of Science in Burke Science Building Room 120.

The workshop will be followed by an opportunity to network with WISE mentors – Faculty and graduate students – at McMaster’s Phoenix Bar & Grill. Appetizers will be provided at the Phoenix.

If you’ve heard that networking is an important tool for a successful job search, you’ve heard right. You need to network. But what if you can’t stand the idea of walking into a room of strangers and trying to make new contacts? What if you feel like you don’t have a network beyond campus? Enter Networking for Introverts, the hands-on workshop that will help you overcome networking nerves and teach you how to work the room like a pro.
