McMaster students, staff and faculty are invited to the official launch of the Learning in Colour platform!
Learning in Colour aims to consolidate information, resources, and guidance for university community members regarding the cultivation of safer classroom and campus spaces informed by the experiences and narratives of Black, Indigenous,
and racialized students.
The event will begin with Social Work PhD student researchers Renata Hall and Madison Brockbank, they will discuss the history of how Learning in Colour was created and demonstrate how to navigate the resource. A panel discussion will follow with Dr. Shaiya Robinson and Dr. Ameil Joseph, Renata and Madison. They will discuss their experiences in creating safe and inclusive classroom spaces for Black, Indigenous and racialized students.
