Displaying information from various host institutions around the world, this is the exchange hopefuls chance to meet with past McMaster exchange students, current international students and to find out details about upcoming information sessions.
McMaster offers over 74 active exchange programs with over 100 universities worldwide. Students in good standing are invited to spend all or part of their third or fourth year studying abroad. Students have the opportunity to act as McMaster ambassadors, learning the importance of diplomacy and international understanding when corresponding with foreign partners.
Lauren Scully, a commerce student, participated in a student exchange to France last year.
“My exchange to France was beyond all expectations,” said Scully. “While my friends were studying international business from a textbook, I was learning about economics and international business strategies from a global panel of professors and other students. Each classroom was like a mini United Nations.”
“I also had the chance to travel to 15 European countries, experiencing first-hand different cultures and ways of life. The experience was like no other, definitely the best time of my life.”
