Update: External email issues resolved


Update March 23 at 2:07 p.m.

This morning’s external email issue has been resolved. All new email should be delivered immediately. Email that was queued is now being delivered, however may take a few hours to clear completely. UTS continues to monitor.


March 23 at 10:36 a.m.

McMaster is currently experiencing issues with external email. Emails sent and received within our McMaster Microsoft 365 service are not affected, however external emails coming in or out of the organization and emails in an Electronic Distribution List (EDL) are impacted. Email delivery may be delayed.

University Technology Services (UTS) is currently working to resolve the issue and will update once resolved.
