Women in Sport and Leadership Event presented by RBC

Join us on March 8th at 7 p.m. to celebrate International Women’s Day as Athletics & Recreation hosts the second annual Women in Sport and Leadership event presented by RBC.

This event aims to inspire Marauders everywhere, to talk about the barriers women in sports and positions of leadership are facing today, as well as the strides that are taking place. Jahaan Blake, Peggy Capitain, Melissa Pool and Liza Smith-Vedder round out the panel of incredible female leaders who will be speaking on the topics of equity gaps, mentorship, networking in a digital environment, and much more.

Moderated by McMaster student-athletes Briana Wice (women’s field hockey) and Bennett Swan (men’s volleyball), it’s sure to be a conversation you won’t want to miss.
