University ratifies collective agreements with teaching assistants, postdoctoral fellows
On Thursday, December 12, McMaster’s Board of Governors ratified the tentative collective agreements with its teaching assistants and postdoctoral fellows.
CUPE local 3906, units 1 and 3, have also ratified the agreements, and both are now in effect.
CUPE local 3906, unit 1, represents 2,700 graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants, while CUPE local 3906, unit 3, represents approximately 170 postdoctoral fellows at the university.
