Discounted residence rooms available to commuter students during exams
Getting to campus early for exams or commuting home in winter weather can add extra stress during an already busy time of year. Starting on Monday, December 2, students who live off campus will now have the option to stay overnight on campus with Housing and Conference Services’ new Student Commuter Hostel pilot. This program will offer affordable on-campus overnight accommodations from December 2 to December 20, 2019 to support student’s academic success.
Located in a separate wing of the Brandon Hall residence, the Student Commuter Hostel is open to undergraduate, masters, and PhD students. The Commuter Hostel features private single bedrooms with a bed, desk, and dresser. Linens, toiletries, and towels are provided upon check-in and all-gender communal washrooms are shared with other Commuter Hostel guests.
Rooms are available for stays of up to 15 nights with pricing from $35 to $45 per night, depending on guest’s length of stay. Students can learn more or reserve a room online.
