New Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) coming to campus

Media Production Services is pleased to announce that Xerox Canada has been awarded the Office Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) Fleet contract.

In response to the feedback received in the recent Service Effectiveness Survey, and at the Fleet Showcase back in March, Media Production Services was eager to make improvements to the equipment and services related to printing/scanning on campus.

Beginning in June 2018, all existing Fleet MFDs will be replaced, beginning with student facing devices. The full implementation is expected to take several weeks.

Within the next few weeks, each department will receive a communication outlining timing for device replacements in their area. Please note that initial configurations and end user training will occur at this time. There are no additional costs associated with this change and current fleet rates will remain in effect.

We’re looking forward to having Xerox as our new PrintSmart partner and hope to make this transition as seamless as possible.
