The voting threshold has been reached to allow the University and the Plan member representatives to proceed immediately with the next steps of the Surplus Sharing Proposal.

Work has already begun on preparing for the court and other regulatory approvals that will be required.

Individuals who have sent in authorizations will be receiving
acknowledgements as quickly as they can be sent out, but individuals who have only recently sent in authorizations should not be concerned about whether they have been received in time as the University and Plan member representatives have agreed to accept authorizations until the end of May.
