Your City, Your Spaces: A discussion on the future of mid-sized cities
In the last three decades, Ontario’s mid-sized cities (MSCs) have experienced significant economic, sociodemographic, environmental, and fiscal changes that are prompting them to reinvent themselves.
With so many underutilized physical assets, many MSCs are experimenting with innovative approaches to reanimating spaces, reinvigorating neighbourhoods, and encouraging innovation.
Join us on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 for Your City, Your Spaces: Adaptive Reuse for Community Benefit, a panel discussion on how Ontario’s mid-sized cities are transforming underutilized public spaces for community benefit. We will hear stories from four community leaders from across Ontario who have used existing spaces for better purpose. We will follow up these talks with a question period during which you will get to engage with our speakers directly.
When: Wed, 24 May 2017 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Where: David Braley Health Sciences Centre, 100 Main Street West
