The future of Ontario’s universities – be part of the discussion

Ontario’s 21 Universities have launched a Province-wide conversation on how we can work together to unlock human potential and ensure a brighter future for everyone.

We invite all students, faculty, and staff to join President Patrick Deane on Wednesday, March 8, from 3:00-3:30 pm in GH -111 for a University-wide discussion of how McMaster, and other Ontario universities, can play a role in building and supporting stronger and more diverse communities, advancing and celebrating knowledge and discovery, promoting health and well-being, protecting our environment and ensuring sustainability, and enhancing Ontario’s and Canada’s economic, social, and cultural prosperity. Please join us for a conversation to help shape the future.

More information about the Ontario Universities #futuring initiative, including a survey we encourage everyone to complete, can be found at ontariosuniversities.ca

This event is open to all, and will be followed at 3:30 pm by the Open Session of Senate which all members of the community are also free to attend.

Both events will take place in the Council Room, GH-111.

Please feel free to contact the University Secretariat (univsec@mcmaster.ca) with any questions.
