McMaster CIO announces retirement

John Kearney, McMaster’s Chief Information Officer, will retire from McMaster in March after nearly a decade of service to the University.

Kearney has led University Technology Services since 2009, during which time he advanced McMaster’s strategic direction for technology services and led the University through a successful transition from a patchwork of business systems to the enterprise resource planning system known as Mosaic.

Kearney will officially retire from the University effective March 31, 2017. The search for a new Chief Information Officer will begin immediately.
