Saying farewell to Ecumenical Chaplain Carol Wood

The McMaster Campus Ministries Council (MCMC), President’s Advisory Committee on Building an Inclusive Community (PACBIC), McMaster Community Poverty Initiative (MCPI), and Anti-Violence Network (AVN) invite you to join us as we honour the Reverend Carol Wood, Ecumenical Chaplain, on the occasion of her retirement.

Since 1996, Carol has enriched the lives of countless members of the McMaster community. She has served as a member of PACBIC and the McMaster Research Ethics Board, and as Co-Chair of MCPI. She has also dedicated her time and passion to spearheading initiatives such as the AVN, the Daughters of Abraham dialogue group, and the McMaster Discovery Program, as well as programming for International students.

Carol has consistently promoted social justice, worked toward genuine inclusivity, and helped countless students faced with financial, emotional and/or spiritual distress. Her contributions are both far-reaching and deep.

You are invited to drop by the Council Chambers (GH-111) on Friday 22 April between 3-6 pm to say farewell to Carol and to celebrate all that she has done for the McMaster and Hamilton communities. Please RSVP to the Eventbrite link by Monday 18 April:
