McMaster Financial Forum: Nov. 30
2015 McMaster Financial Forum:
How Far We’ve Come Plan to attend on November 30, 2015 |
The purpose of this year’s financial forum is to engage financial leaders and administrators in a professional development event that will provide attendees with a broad sector-wide financial context and where McMaster fits within this financial picture. As well, key strategic updates will be provided, including an opening address from President Deane followed by two strategic panel discussions one involving the President and Vice-Presidents, and another panel involving the President of McMaster University’s Faculty Association and the President of the McMaster Student Union focused on how we can all work together to contribute to the goals and objectives aligned to Forward with Integrity. The afternoon will focus on opportunities to share financial system implementation updates, lessons learned, tips and tricks, and celebrate successes with regards to Mosaic processes and progress.
The morning panels will provide attendees an opportunity to ask questions. The afternoon will include break- out sessions. Session topics will include P-Card Working Group Outcomes, Budget Planning and Reporting, Procurement and Payables, and HR Time and Labour Reporting.
This all-day event will be held on November 30 in CIBC Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and has limited capacity. Continental breakfast and buffet lunch provided. Pre-registration is required.
This Forum will be of interest for everyone involved in McMaster’s financial systems and will be targeted to those who use the Mosaic and Hyperion financial modules on a regular basis.
