Registration open for Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health Day

Registration is now open for the second-annual Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health Day: Management in Primary Care Practice.

By attending this Sept. 19 event, participants will be able to:

Evaluate and discuss the current approaches to the treatment of asthma, COPD, Asthma COPD Overlap Syndrome, Smoking Addiction and Cessation and Lung Cancer Screening.
Learn practical approaches to medical problems in the discipline of respirology encountered by hospital based and community based family medicine practitioners.
Understand and implement current treatments for respiratory conditions.
Update knowledge and assist in the management of respiratory disease.

The target audience includes FP/GPs, internists, respirologists, nurse practitioners, RNs, respiratory therapists, students and residents.

Respiratory Health Day will take place Saturday, Sept. 19 from 8:30 a.m to 5 p.m. at the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health – St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (Miller Amphitheatre). The hall is located in the Juravinski Tower, second floor, at 50 Charlton Ave. East in downtown Hamilton.
