Registration open for Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health Day
Registration is now open for the second-annual Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health Day: Management in Primary Care Practice.
By attending this Sept. 19 event, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate and discuss the current approaches to the treatment of asthma, COPD, Asthma COPD Overlap Syndrome, Smoking Addiction and Cessation and Lung Cancer Screening.
- Learn practical approaches to medical problems in the discipline of respirology encountered by hospital based and community based family medicine practitioners.
- Understand and implement current treatments for respiratory conditions.
- Update knowledge and assist in the management of respiratory disease.
The target audience includes FP/GPs, internists, respirologists, nurse practitioners, RNs, respiratory therapists, students and residents.
Respiratory Health Day will take place Saturday, Sept. 19 from 8:30 a.m to 5 p.m. at the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health – St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (Miller Amphitheatre). The hall is located in the Juravinski Tower, second floor, at 50 Charlton Ave. East in downtown Hamilton.
