The University is currently experiencing intermittent problems with email.

University Technology Services is investigating the issue and will advise when services is fully restored.

Issues include:

• Email sender receives error message: “554 5.0.0 Service unavailable error ”

Action: resend the email, report the issue to uts@mcmaster.ca

• Email seems to be sent, (appears in sender’s sent folder, no error message) but never arrives at the recipient

Action: Confirm that email was not received, report the issue to uts@mcmaster.ca
