Grad students: check out the Social Sciences Multidisciplinary Colloquium
Graduate students from across all faculties are coming together at the second-annual Social Sciences Multidisciplinary Colloquium on Thursday, March 27.
The day-long event is a great opportunity for students to meet other graduate researchers from across campus, and discuss common areas of interest and potential collaborations.
All are welcome to attend the event, to learn more about the innovative research being done by McMaster graduate students. No registration required.
Tony Porter, associate dean of Research and Graduate Studies (Social Sciences) will give the opening keynote address, followed by presentations from graduate students Iris De Roux-Smith and Roojin Habibi.
The afternoon session will include talks by graduate students Jason Ackert, Megan Murphy and Jen Nicholl. John Colarusso, professor, Department of Anthropology, will give the closing keynote.
