Mosaic entering launch weekend
McMaster’s new finance and research post-award system will launch this weekend as scheduled, the Mosaic executive committee announced this afternoon.
McMaster’s new finance and research post-award system will launch this weekend as scheduled, the Mosaic executive committee announced this afternoon.
“I wish the team all the best as they enter a weekend for which they have spent more than a year preparing,” said Roger Couldrey, vice-president (Administration).
“It has been a long, hard road for both the team and the larger McMaster community. Thank you to the many people who have provided leadership and contributed their time, ideas and efforts to Mosaic.”
“On behalf of researchers across McMaster, I want to thank all those who have worked to improve the administrative systems that undergird research,” said Mo Elbestawi, vice-president (Research and International Affairs).
The project team will work through the weekend to complete the switchover. Assuming all goes as planned, on Monday, December 2 at 9 a.m. the new system will be opened for normal use. The new system will accessed at http://mosaic.mcmaster.ca with a user’s MAC ID and password.
A message on Monday will confirm the system launch.
