August 15, 4:15 p.m.: As a result of an ongoing investigation conducted by the Sexual Assault Unit and with the assistance of the Division One HEAT Unit and Frontline Patrol the suspect responsible for the sexual assaults has been arrested. Details are available here.

August 12, 4 p.m.: Police are investigating a second sexual assault in the Emerson Street area. They believe the incident may be related to the one that took place on August 8. Details can be found here.

August 9: The Hamilton Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public with identifying a suspect involved in a sexual assault on Sussex Street in the area of Emerson Street.
