CGS art contest for students
Budding artists – here is your chance to share an iconic image of McMaster with the world.
Allison Sekuler, dean and AVP of the School of Graduate Studies, is a newly elected member to the Board of the Council of Graduate Schools. As part of the CGS’ campus art initiative, the organization displays framed images of board member universities at their national office in Washington, D.C.
Here’s where McMaster’s student community comes in:
Perhaps you took a fantastic photograph of campus last summer, or you completed a wonderful sketch of the University over the holidays? Maybe during that last snowfall, you were out and about, capturing some beautiful images of campus? Here is your chance to have that image seen!
Selected submissions will be displayed in the School of Graduate Studies, and on the SGS website. The first, second and third-prize winners will receive $500, $250, and $100, respectively, and the first-prize image will be hung in the CGS National Office in Washington, D.C.
The submission must be an original sketch, painting or photograph, for which the artist owns all rights. To learn more about the contest, visit the School of Graduate Studies. The contest closes March 21.
