Listening to the Brain’s Voice
Language is viewed as an ability that separates Homo Sapiens from other species. It’s also considered the cornerstone of conscious reflection – another phenomenon thought to be uniquely human. So what happens if we lose our ability to communicate?
On Thursday, Mar. 14, join John F. Connolly, professor and chair, Department of Linguistics, for a unique and informative talk: “Listening to the Brain’s Voice when Speech is Lost.”
The event is being held at McMaster Innovation Park (Room 1 B, C & D) from 7 to 9 p.m. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. Parking is free.
